Elements of a Leka Roof

Glass-Reinforcaed-Plastic

The Leko Roofs structure, consisting of rafters, a ring beam, and a ridge, is constructed using glass-reinforced plastic (GRP). GRP is a composite material that possesses a tensile strength equal to or greater than steel. Moreover, it is impervious to corrosion, rot, shrinkage, or warping. This exceptional durability and resilience make it the ideal selection for a roof, which is precisely why we opted for it. No other materials can surpass its qualities.

Internal-Leka-Boards

These panels are installed beneath the GRP rafters. They weigh only one-third of standard plasterboard, making them more thermally efficient. Additionally, they are completely waterproof, ensuring they will never deteriorate. These panels can be skimmed just like plasterboard, resulting in a flawless finish. Depending on the energy value of your chosen system, alternative boarding options may be provided.

Insulation-Sheets

We conducted extensive testing on numerous insulation sheets prior to selecting a limited range of brands. We believe that these selected products are the top insulation options available. The sheets are installed with a 15mm space from the Leko boards to form a warm air pocket, ensuring exceptional thermal efficiency. Every sheet is precisely tailored for your roof, and alternative materials can be provided based on the desired energy rating.

External-Leka-Boards

Subsequently, our externally installed Lekasheets, which have undergone structural testing and are thermally efficient, are affixed onto the rafters to conceal the underlying construction.
